Vision Statement:

Legends, and Legacies Houston, Inc., is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) non-profit organization created for the purpose of reducing victimizing behavior within society by promoting mental health, improving the quality of life and addressing the relevant needs and issues of the child and the adult

 

Mission Statement:

Legends, and Legacies Houston, Inc., is designed to address the physical, emotional, academic and social needs of children experiencing the trauma of parental incarceration

 

Program Services:

Legends and Legacies Houston, Inc., provides self-awareness and emotional support services in the following areas:

  • Parent-Child Relationships (Prevention of Cycle of Addictive Behaviors)

  • At- Risk Children and Youth  (School-Based and Community-Based Programming)

  • Children of Incarcerated Parents (School-Based, Justice -Based and Community-Based)

  • Incarcerated Parent-Child Relationships (Adult and Juvenile Systems)

  • Families Coping With Incarceration 

  • Substance Abuse Referrals

  • Anger Resolution Therapy   

  • Volunteer Services

  • Children and Family Activities

  • Community Service Opportunities 

  • Victim Advocacy (Domestic Violence, Family Violence, Trafficking , and much more)

  • Provide food, clothing, diapers, etc for children and families in crisis

  • Resources and Referrals.
